Living with difficult feelings or emotions that recurr on a regular basis can be tough so the first thing I want to tell you is that you can make a lasting change to how you feel on a daily basis.
Why Do I Feel Like This?

We all have a wide range of emotions which we can experience whenever we need them – and we do need our emotions, they are important to us as they have an important function in our brains and bodies.

When we use our emotions appropriately we get a feeling, we note it and perhaps act on it and then the feeling goes, it has fulfilled its function. However when a feeling keeps coming back and doesn’t seem to be helpful to us or perhaps is a difficult feeling to live with, or even holding us back in life, then often we have got a bit stuck in the process of using that emotion and it can be really useful to get some help to get back on track.

It’s always possible to clear old emotions, feelings or responses even if they feel really big or seem to be in control. It’s simply a matter of finding out what is going on at an unconscious level – why does that feeling keep coming back, what purpose is it serving?

Regardless of where the feeling came from, whatever kind of experience may have triggered it, there is simply no need to live in the present with bad feelings from the past.
